Dear Mothers of the Outstanding Orange County Chapter of Jack & Jill of America, Inc.,
As our year begins, I am humbled and honored to serve as your chapter president. I appreciate the support and confidence you have shown me, and I will continue to work hard for this chapter in which I have been a member since 1996. The events and programs of this past year, and your involvement, gives me reason to pause and say that this has been a good year! Our chapter is comprised of 47 committed mothers who work diligently to “raise our village” here in Orange County. Not always an easy task. But we get results, as evidenced by our participation in the National Convention. We hosted one of (if not the) most successful National Convention Family Fun Nights in Jack & Jill History.
The core of the Jack & Jill of America philosophy is that every child, if given the proper guidance and opportunity, can be developed into a leader. Membership in Jack & Jill of America, Inc., however, is not something that ends once you graduate out. The tools and values our children receive will remain with them throughout their lifetime. That is why the mother’s of Orange County take to heart our National Theme; “The Power To Make A Difference.” We have always made a difference. And we will continue to make a difference by strengthening the programs for our children, improving our relationships with the community, and enhancing and/or creating civic partnerships with other organizations.
The Orange County Chapter of Jack & Jill of America has been making a difference since 1982. So, as we celebrate almost 35 years of service to our children, let us renew our commitment to raise our children with pride, commitment, passion and humility. To acknowledge differences, and work towards positive differences in our lives and the community.
Yours In Service,
President, Orange County Chapter
Jack & Jill of America, Inc.
